Teacher Advisory Panel 

We want you! 

The STEM Centre of Excellence Teacher Advisory Panel (TAP) will bring together educators from across our Partner Schools to guide, pilot, and evaluate our educational programs, resources, and events.  

Working with the SCoE team, as well as wonderful contributors from across our Partner Organisations, you will act as a critical friend to help shape the future of the STEM Centre’s educational offerings for both students and educators.  

Who: 

  • We’re looking for one Teacher Ambassador from each of our Partner Schools. If your school has multiple campuses, we would love at least one Teacher from each (e.g. 3 campuses = up to 3 Teacher Ambassadors).  

  • From English to Science, we champion Teacher Ambassadors from across all KLAs.  

  • Our focus is on programming from 7-12, so all year level Teachers are encouraged to participate.  

Purpose: 

  • Advocate for your schools’ needs and interests. 

  • Evaluate existing learning programs (Modules) and resources.  

  • Share insight from your experiences with the STEM Centre of Excellence. 

  • Make recommendations and review proposals for new learning programs, events and experiences.  

  • Pilot and evaluate new programs and resources.  

  • Share knowledge and experience in emerging and persistent trends affecting schools.  

Commitment: 

  • Attend the workshop at Science Gallery Melbourne, in 2024 (dates to be announced)

  • Lead the selection of Youth Ambassadors for your school. 

  • Accompany your schools’ Youth Ambassadors to the upcoming workshop.

  • There is a limited CRT budget available by negotiation.  

  • Enjoy a catered morning tea and lunch
